Alexander is a leading expert in AI with over 25 years of experience in research and financial services.

After several years as an AI professor at NYU, where Alexander pioneered research in machine learning and causal reasoning, he joined American Express, where he developed AI solutions for risk management.

Alexander then went on to build out the AI teams and platforms at SoFi and Square.

Craig is a product visionary who has spent his career building industry-leading software in data and applied AI.

He's helped to drive innovation for hundreds of millions of customers through companies like Square, mParticle, and Overstock.com, where he held senior and executive leadership roles in product management.

Craig lives in Utah with his wife and two young children.

OUR ORIGINS

Alexander & Craig, Crosswise's co-founders, met while working at Square in 2021, where they led the company's data and artificial intelligence efforts.

After several years working together, they began using new breakthroughs in AI to normalize and structure large documents and datasets. With the guidance of their advisors, they began exploring how to use new advances in AI to create step-change improvement in regulatory change management for financial institutions, and Crosswise was born.
